The Senior Showcase selection process immediately after the respective sports season. Every NCA member coach may nominate deserving senior student-athlete(s). The future of each event will be evaluated annually by the NCA Board of Directors.
The goal: players selected will represent the best available student-athletes in all parts of the state, as well as representing the sport and themselves in a positive manner. The Senior Showcase selection committee is made up of member coaches from throughout the state.
Senior Showcase Coaches Selections: Self-Nominations are collected from member head coaches. The coach’s records, career stats, and longevity are then taken into consideration. The NCA sports advisory committees determine the selections.
Funding for the games depends on the support offered by each community having a player selected. Coaches of committed student-athletes are asked to assist in securing a $250 (non refundable) to participate in the senior showcase experience. Each student-athlete that secures the participation fee will be provided six complimentary game passes.
The NCA receives support for all games from Nebraska Orthopaedic Center of Lincoln. The NCA would like to thank each school and community in advance for their support of the Nebraska Coaches Association Senior Showcase Games.
NOTE: You must be a current NCA member head coach to nominate a player for any Senior Showcase event!
