| The NCA Board of Directors voted to increase the fees for the 2008 membership by $10.00. This year's membership cost is $40.00, and clinic (including membership) is $80.00. If you are using an old registration card, the new fees will not be noted on the form. The new registration form is available on the website under the 'Membership' tab at the top of the page. |

| NEW DATES FOR 2008 MULTI-SPORTS CLINIC |

| The Nebraska Coaches Association office has received several calls since the 2007 Multi-Sports Clinic regarding dates for 2008. The NCA Board of Directors, after much discussion, has reconsidered their original decision on dates for 2008. After much discussion, the NCA Board decided to set the 2008 dates for July 29th-31st. Another major change is that the 2008 Awards and Recognition Banquet will be held on Sunday, July 27th. The rational for the change in clinic dates included the potential loss of Division 1 football and volleyball coaches as speakers, when staying with the original August date. Another concern was the "potential" loss of Division 1 and 2 volleyball players in the All-Star games, as many of them report the first week of August. We fully realize the NSAA calendar changed by one week, but colleges don't follow the NSAA calendar. School administrators also moved their convention in Kearney to the last week of July, so that conflict will remain. We realize that the NSAA permits camps and clincs until July 31, but we trust that with enough advance notice, schools will make the necessary adjustments in their schedules. |
